Description

Filter elements are core components of filters. When contaminated mixed gas passes through the element, liquids, oil aerosols, solid particles, oil vapor, hydrocarbons, odors, bacteria and other impurities are removed. Most filter elements cannot be regenerated and shall be replaced after a certain service period.

Flohydra replacement precision filter elements for Ultrafilter are manufactured with high-quality filter media and stainless-steel support frames. They deliver high filtration efficiency, good corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, low air-flow resistance and long service life. The outermost oil-resistant, acid-resistant hydrophobic foam sleeve prevents coalesced liquid from re-entering the gas stream to ensure high-efficiency oil and water removal.

Concentrate and separate macromolecules, fine particles, colloids and organics in water; retain bacteria and algae.

Three-way retention for macromolecular substances:

Adsorption inside membrane pores (primary adsorption);

Retention and removal within micropores (blocking);

Mechanical interception on membrane surface.

Special membrane-fiber manufacturing process ensures high water flux and anti-clogging performance.

Ultrafiltration membrane can be repeatedly cleaned for long service life.

Installation Notes

Operating pressure shall not exceed the maximum pressure marked on the filter housing.

Install the filter downstream of after-cooler and air receiver, as close to the consumption point and low-temperature point as possible.

Do not install behind quick-opening valves to avoid backflow and pressure shock.

Mount the filter vertically and reserve sufficient space below for element replacement.

Proper pipeline support shall be provided for large-size filters.
